Demitasse

I have painted this tiny demitasse cup  several times, once in watercolor.  It is one of my favorite things from my grandmother's collection.  It is delicate fine china with a mark on the bottom which says "RS Prussia".  I chose my favorite piece of printed fabric to make the foreground interesting and painted the background with deep red to highlight the gold in the cup.
