Sophisticated Lady

This regal feline was one of the dozens of Key West strays who found sanctuary at Courtney's Place, a lovely vacation lodge where we found rooming during a visit to Florida.  Cats roamed freely through open window and doors and entertained themselves watching koi in the courtyard lake.  I used collage papers in the background of this painting and finished with oil to complete the cat and tie it all together.
